The Library has been up and accessible for a couple of years now. Admittedly, I have not been able to keep up with posting new cases like I'd like to, but I did manage to get three new ones up today (one Arkansas, two Ohio). If you know of a case in your state but are unsure how to get it posted, please feel free to email me (please click on the title above for instructions) and I'll do my best to get you started or get it posted myself. The hard part is knowing of the cases in the first place - if you let me know what to look for I can probably find it. It would be very encouraging to hear from any of you that have been able to get some use out of this resource - drop Rob or myself an email and tell us your story. Thanks.

Deputy Wildlife Conservation Officer Mark McAlpine, with the Pennsylvania Game Commission, has signed on to help with your law library. Mark is also in law school at Temple University in Philadelphia, and plans on using that connection to do some legal research for wildlife-related cases. We're glad to have Mark aboard, and look forward to his help in building the library database. That database now contains around 180 cases and with Mark's help will continue to grow.

Remember, anyone of you can play a part in this. Just sign up and contact us if you come up with cases that need to be added. Thanks!

N.A.W.E.O.A. as a group of over 8,000 dedicated wildlife law enforcement professionals is committed to wildlife protection and to the public we serve. This page and associated database is provided as a service of N.A.W.E.O.A. for its member officers. It is one of the benefits of being a member. Please take time to register to use this database and provide updated information where appropriate. Together we can provide up to date information that we can all use.

If you are a Natural Resource Program Administrator, you can improve your program by sending your officers to N.A.W.E.O.A. conferences and training programs, or let us help you in hosting one yourself.

Thanks
